Grammar: describing symptoms

Use It is + adjective or They are + adjective to describe how something feels or looks.
For example,

It is painful. / They are painful.                      It isn’t painful. / They aren’t painful.
It is sore. / They are sore.                               It isn’t sore. / They aren’t sore.
It is itchy. / They are itchy.                             It isn’t itchy. / They aren’t itchy.
It is inflamed. / They are inflamed.                It isn’t inflamed. /They aren’t inflamed.
